SECULARISM

As tradition is a part of culture, likewise secularism can be called as the part of Sufism. But it would be more appropriate to call it as the modern part of Sufism. Modern secularism has evolved from the Greece, but it has propagated from Europe to Asia in a better way. Secularism is implemented in personal life of people, organization, struggle and system of government. It is briefly described as follows: 1. All people should be considered equal despite of difference of color. 2. Despite of race, caste and races of different communities and nations, all people should be considered equal. 3. No any religions should be considered superior over other. Religion must be considered as one’s own personal matter, so it must be avoided to interfere in other’s religious matter and it should not be implemented on government level. 4. No interference in one’s own personal matter. Everyone should be sovereign to think and for its own prosperity. 5. All individuals of nations should be given equal status on constitutional, legal and moral basis. 6. No any ideology or philosophy should be imposed on the views of people. 7. Everyone should be treated equal. Secularism is said to be considered as cure which there is law and order situation, intolerance, jealousy, greed, fear, fraud and class system, where there are religious crises, where there is difference of white and black, farmer and land lord and clashes between peasants and industrialist in the world. As it is mentioned above that the secularism is the modern form of Sufism. It is only way on which great personalities of the world like Mahatma Gandhi, Gautam Buddha, Jesus, Confucius, prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.), shri Krishna, Baba Guru Nanak, Hazrat Ali, Sachal Sarmast, Shah Latif, Shams Tabrez, Ibn Arabi, Maulana Hami Attar Neshapuri, Mansoor Hallaj, Sayed Abdul Qadir shah Jeelani, Maulana Roomi, Makhdoom Bilawal, Shah Inayat Shaheed, Sain GM Sayed and others have served the humanity at large. Whereas Mahatma Gandhi, Khan Abdul ghaffar Khan, martin luthor king, nelson mandiela Jawaharlal Nehru, Guloi Pasha, san yat sann, Yasar Arafat, Chui En Lei, Marshall tato, Nikroma, Jamal Abdul Nasir, Kamal ataturk and others have played their role in propagation of modern secularism in the world. Actually secularism brings end of all kinds of spiritual robbery especially religious because the ruling group have always used religion as their weapon, whether it be of Roman Empire or the us mania sultanate. Religions came into being for the mental development of humans but its has been used to slave the human brains which has lead religions to loose their original virtues. Whereas the secularism provide opportunities to religion to propagate its native values. The history of color, caste, creed and racism is so ancient. Blacks are considered inferior to others and treated as animals. Shudra were considered “acchot” (not to touch) but secularism has shortened the difference between such and considered all humans equal. All the organizations and movements of human rights are basically the source of propagation of secularism and such movements have gained power in the different parts of the world. Secularism is monarch in its own ascent as it neither has association with right or left unity. It needs human independence. It is because of Suekarno and Jawaharlal Nehru that the uninfluenced block was laid which was actually a secular block. There is more number of countries in that block than any other. Following benefits will be achieved by introducing secular system. According to Sain G.M Syyed: 1. End of doubts: Different people, groups, sects and nations are entrapped in the doubts. Selfishness is its main cause. Every person, group, sect and nation have doubts on the others due to which everyone is indulge in its own interests rather than common interests of all people. Personal ideologies come up due to personal interests and it is the reason that some people are entrapped in the religion of false explanation of mullah and some in the confined ideology of communism. Everyone consider themselves right and others wrong. This is the reason that the people are victimized by color, caste, race, language, religion, ideological and sect differences. Doubts among the people can be overcome by the principles of secularism. Based on the principles of secularism “live and let others live”, brotherly relations would grow among people. Relationships among the people abolish doubts and distrust among them and led them to lead their live prosperous by promoting the common interests rather than individual one. To bring the distrust and doubts to an end, we have to say bye to communism and so called false believes of mullahs. 2. End of fear: Doubts and distrust give rise to fear and danger. Fear develops by giving priorities to individual interests over common interest of people. Following are the causes that give rise to fear and danger: a. Distrusting each other due to selfishness. b. Lack of communication and relationship. c. Superiority complex. d. National, religious and economical superiorities. Different nations, states, sects and groups have committed following acts in that fear and Danger. 1. Establishment of military rule by dissolving democracy. 2. Violation of human rights. 3. Make people slave by passing cruel rules. 4. Increasing military budget, many times than civil budget. America and its allies are now afraid of their own shoulders. Fear danger can be Ended from the world by following factors. a. Based on the principles of non violence; doubts, distrust, fear and danger can be eliminated. b. By accepting the rights of different nations, peoples and states and by creating brotherly relation on different grounds of religion, politics, ideology and economy. 3. End of hatred: When a person doesn’t follow the fundamental principles of secularism, he develops selfishness which exploits others. Hatred and disgust are the result of exploitation which eventually leads to the extremism. For example an industrialist and communist state extremely hate each other. They used to do everything in that hatred. Whereas the supporters of industrialist block used to call their anti as fascist and agent of imperial. Hatred can be overcome by the universal principles of love and brotherhood. 4. End of Poverty: Economics is the most difficult subject and issue of great attention at present. On one hand the industrialist and feudal lords are giving priorities to their personal interests over the common interests of the people by collecting more and more wealth and on the other hand uncountable poor farmers, peasants, shepherds are striving to over their hunger. Unemployment is at its peak. Their basic problems such as water, electricity, roads, health, and education are still out of screen. In this way the tension is increasing between different sects. Sain G.M Syyed has given more importance to the issue of economics in his philosophy. According to that, fraternity helps in abolishing the sect difference. And it is easier to end up sect difference after abolishing the doubts, hatred among them. Spiritual changes give rise to materialistic change. By bringing the poverty to an end in Asian, Latin American and African countries, proper distribution of wealth among them, nations can strive foe the prosperity world unity, universal peace & human development.
